In a bid to attract customers, Lenovo has come up with an interesting launch day offer. The Lenovo Vibe K5 which was launched earlier this month will be available in its first flash sale at 2pm IST on 22 June through Amazon India. The smartphone is priced at 6,999.
Vibe K5 will be available in a limited edition Golden VR Bundle (a Gold colour variant of the Vibe K5 and an ANT VR headset) at Rs. 6,699. Other colour variants of the Lenovo Vibe K5 are Grey and Silver. The registrations for the first flash sale however began on June 13.
Lenovo had received over 400,000 registrations for the flash sale, it announced on Monday.
The Vibe K5 is a dual-SIM (Micro-SIM cards) smartphone that was first unveiled back at MWC 2016 alongside the Vibe K5 Plus. The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus however made it to India in March at Rs. 8,499.
Besides, the smartphone is based on the Android 5.1 Lollipop which sports a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 SoC that's coupled with 2GB of RAM.
Moreover, Vibe K5 has a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. With an inbuilt storage of 16GB, the Vibe K5 can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB). The Lenovo Vibe K5 runs on a 2750mAh removable battery, measures 142x71x8.2mm, and weighs 150 grams.
In addition, connectivity options on the Lenovo Vibe K5 include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, 4G (with support for Indian LTE networks). Sensors on the phone include proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, and gyroscope.
