HDFC Bank LTD customers are facing difficulties in accessing online banking services for the second consecutive day i.e. on Tuesday, due to a ‘technical glitch’. Notably, HDFC Bank’s online banking and mobile apps are down since Monday morning. Angry customers on Monday had taken to social media websites to complain regarding the inconvenience faced by them.
“Due to a technical glitch, some of our customers have been having trouble logging into our net banking and MobileBanking App. Our experts are working on it on top priority, and we’re confident we’ll be able to restore services shortly. While we deeply regret the inconvenience caused, there’s no cause for undue concern,” HDFC Bank on Monday posted a statement on Twitter to calm down the customers.
For those trying to log into their bank account, the page had a standard response, "Dear User, The NetBanking system is busy processing heavy load from currently logged in customers, request to try after some time. Thank you for your cooperation".
It is worth mentioning here that HDFC Bank has around 4.5 crore customers, with most of them using its digital payment modes like net banking and mobile app for banking transactions.

According to a report of news18, the shares of HDFC Bank were down 0.8 per cent at Rs 1,255.25 in early trade.
