Hike messenger, the instant messaging service on Monday launched ‘Car match’ a microapp within hike, to facilitate users in sharing rides with friends during the ongoing odd-even scheme in the national capital.

This microapp not only matches odd-numbered cars with even-numbered ones but in the user’s vicinity but also helps ensure that car categories are as similar to each other as possible.

The app is enabled for all the Delhi numbers, you can chat before pooling in with your partner, thus helping you make decisions about having safe rides.

To avail this service, a user just need to open hike messenger and select the Car Match app. You would be asked to fill in the basic details regarding your car number, journey, destination and so on.

Depending upon your filled in details and preferences, hike will then generate the possible matches, best suited for you. Moreover it will enable you also to choose match, chat and finalise a commuter-partner to share your ride with. The microapp is free and is available on Google Play store for Android users.
