Indian auto major Honda Motors India Ltd (HCIL) is all geared up for the launch of WR-V crossover, its second big offering of 2017.
The company will launch the vehicle on March 16 and has initiated pre-bookings for the upcoming model at its dealerships for an amount of Rs 21,000.
The WR-V crossover shall be unveiled on March 16 in the country. After unveiling the facelift City 2017+ , Honda is banking on WR-V to counter crossover hatchbacks like Hyundai's i20 Active and VW's Cross Polo, as well as sub-four meter SUVs like Maruti's Vitara Brezza.
The WR-V is being seen widely as a facelift of the hatchback Jazz but the vehicle shall have a revamped styling and a relatively long list of features to find a special place in the highly-competitive Indian market.
Some of the expected features list includes LED DRLs, 16-inch alloy wheels and the one touch open/close sunroof. Much like the new City, the WR-V is also expected to get an HDMI-in slot for MirrorLink functionality, 1.5 GB internal memory and USB slots.
The car will also get a host of safety features to be a competitive offering while the mileage is expected to be around the 25kmpl mark.
