South Korean technology giant LG is all set to launch its flagship smart phone G5 in India on June 1.
A week ago company had announced LG G5 pre-order on the Flipkart for Rs 52,990. But, no dates were revealed of when the device will be made available to the customers.
The wait for the phone is likely to get over on June 1, the day when company will launch LG G5 at an event in New Delhi, which will presided over by Kim Ki Wan, managing director, LG Electronics India.
Brilliance of the device lies with its design which comes with a detachable bottom segment.
It also comes with a LG CAM Plus technology with physical buttons for power, shutter, record, zoom, LED indicator and comfortable grip. Such features resemble to fully equipped digital cameras in the market.
With so much in offering, the company has taken special care of the battery. A dedicated 1200 mAh capacity cells have been put in to keep users experience a long lasting camera mode. For user who book LG G5 from Flipkart before May 30, will get Cam Plus free of cost.
Another feature that comes as a highlight of the device is dual camera on the back one with a 78-degree lens and another with a 135-degree wide angle lens, which is widest in any smart phone in the market.
Other stipulated features of LG G5 include metal-based uni-body design, 5.3-inch QHD display, Android Marshmallow OS, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 CPU, 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, 32GB inbuilt memory and a 2800mAh battery.
With features like this the phone comes in direct competition with already available Samsung Galaxy S7 series, Apple iPhone 6S, 6S Plus, Microsoft Lumia 950 series, Moto X Force and soon to be released HTC 10, among others.
