Mahindra & Mahindra has launched its all new electric car e2oPlus which is also the company's first electric vehicle under the new name 'Mahindra Electric'.
The new Mahindra e2oPlus come is in 4 different variants- P2(commercial), P4, P6 and P8 and the price range for the same starts at Rs. 5.46 lakhs and goes till 8.46 lakhs. The price comprises state subsidy and FAME (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid and Electric vehicles) incentive. As such there is no direct competitors to e2oPlus in the electric car segment in this price range, but ig might land itself in the premium hatchback category.
A top company official revealed that on a full charge, the Mahindra e2oPlus can travel for up to 140 km and can achieve a top-speed of 85kmph.
Mahindra e2oPlus is available in four varied colours - coral blue, sparkling wine, arctic silver and solid white.

Speed
The car can reach 0-60 kmph in 9.5 seconds while the top speed is set at 85 kmph. All new e2oplus offers a boot space of 135 litres.
Design
Coming to the design, Mahindra e2oPlus is much identical to its predecessor e2o, with just minor changes. Like all other Mahindra's SUVs, e2oPlus features 'whiskers' on the grill. The projector headlamp is also slightly tweaked with redesigned LED tail lamps.
Power
The new Mahindra e2oPlus is powered by a 41 PS electric motor which generates torque of 91 Nm. The car come with a two speed direct drive transmission. The large 210 Ah lithium ion battery can be fully charged in 6 hours.
Interior
Inside the all new Mahindra e2oPlus a touchscreen infotainment system is a new addition with slightly changed digital instrument cluster, smartphone integration and navigation system.
