Panasonic on Tuesday launched three new models of rugged devices and said it aims to have over 70 per cent market share in rugged notebooks and tablets from the current 65 per cent.
The three devices are Toughpad FZ-F1, FZ-N1 and FZ-A2 tablet.
“Panasonic Toughpad enjoys a 65 per cent leadership in rugged notebooks and tablets and with the introduction of the new products in the Toughbook and Toughpad series we aim to increase our market share to over 70 per cent in next years”, said Gunjan Sachdev, National Business Head, Toughbook and Toughpad Division.
The company has sold over 10,000 units under the Toughbook and Toughpad in the current fiscal and looks forward to sell 12,000-13,000 units next fiscal, Sachdev added.
