Petrol Rate, Diesel Rate Today: Petrol and diesel price continued to rise across India on Friday (September 27) as state-run oil marketing companies again increased rates. While petrol rate rose by 15 paise in Delhi, diesel rate increased by 10 paise today. The rate of petrol and diesel have increased heavily since September 17 following attacks on Saudi Arabian crude oil facilities. Since the attack less than two weeks that resulted in the biggest supply disruption in the history of the oil trade, global benchmark prices have gently settled back to where they were before the drone attacks on Saudi facilities. But commuters and motorists in India seemed to have no respite. In Delhi, Petrol prices have soared by Rs 2.31 a litre and diesel by Rs 1.81 in the last nine days -- the most since daily price revision was introduced in 2017.
Fuel (Petrol, Diesel, CNG) Rates In Indian Cities
The petrol prices in Delhi increased by 15 paise to Rs 74.34 a litre while diesel prices were at Rs 67.24 per litre on Friday, according to the fuel price data available on the website of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL).
The rate of petrol in Noida rose by 11 paise Rs 75.77 a litre while diesel was selling at Rs 67.56 a litre. In Gurugram, petrol rate is Rs 73.98 a litre, while diesel price in Gurugram is Rs 66.38 per litre.
In Mumbai, petrol touched the Rs 80-mark today. In Mumbai, the rate of one litre of petrol is now at Rs 80.00 per litre. A litre of diesel is priced at Rs 70.55 per litre in Mumbai. In Chennai, the retail price of petrol is Rs 77.28 a litre, while diesel was being sold at Rs 71.09 a litre. In Kolkata, petrol is retailing at Rs 77.03 a litre today, while diesel price were at Rs 69.66 a litre today.

The price of CNG is Rs 47.10 a kg in Delhi this month. The price of CNG is Rs 52.95 a kg in Noida while CNG is priced at Rs 58.45 per kg in Gurugram.
