World’s largest electronics major Samsung is mulling to giving tough fight to Apple’s new Live Photos features by adding a new feature to its upcoming Galaxy S7. The Apple’s new feature is available in iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.

The South Korean major is trying to provide an alternative to users by the new feature. According to sources, the new feature will be either Timeless Photos or Vivid Photos.

However, the new feature will not be capturing sound with the photo. It will help users to share the resultant images on social media, in the form of gif images.

Recently, Samsung is planning to launch three variants of the Galaxy S7, including Galaxy S7 Edge and the Galaxy S7 Edge+.

Samsung may launch its new flagship device at Mobile World Congress event, which is scheduled from February 22 to February 25.

The new Galaxy S7 may feature a 5.1-inch Super Amoled display with a QHD (1440x2560 pixels) resolution, with a 5.5-inch Super Amoled display.  Both the handsets are expected to feature Snapdragon 820 processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM.

Their storage can be 32GB and 64GB which can be support expanded further. With 12 megapixel front camera, it’s worth taking.  Prices of both the handsets are not yet revealed.
