Tata Projects Ltd on Friday said that its joint venture with China Harbour Engineering Company (TPL-CHEC) has bagged Rs.1,048 Mumbai Metro projects.
The company received the Letter of Award for constructing two packages of the Mumbai Metro Elevated Line 4, it announced in a release.
"We are happy to contribute to Mumbai's transformation by building both underground and overground stretches of Mumbai Metro," said Vivek Singhal COO Urban Infrastructure, Tata Projects.
The packages pertain to the line between Wadala and Kasaradavali. The combined value of both packages is Rs 1,048 crore and requires the contractor to design and construct 14 elevated stations with a viaduct of 12.5 km, according to the company statement.
This project will improve connectivity with Thane, it stated.
