OnePlus 3 and 3T smartphone users recently have been receiving an Operating Software update (OxygenOS 4.0.1) that fixes a few minor technical snags. However, as per a post on the company's blog, users may have to uninstall a few applications to rectify the problem affecting downloads from Google's PlayStore.
These solutions are basically short term fixes related to the PlayStore-based bug users encountered once they downloaded OxygenOS 4.0. To fix the bug, OnePlus says that if users have apps, such as Truecaller, AVG Antivirus, and PayTm installed, they need to force stop or uninstall them first. Once done, these apps can then be reinstalled to resume operations.
This, however, may put the company in poor light as millions will have to uninstall the aforementioned apps. The company added that users can follow Google's troubleshooting steps to see if their problem has been resolved.
