Chinese smartphone maker, Vivo has launched its latest smartphone Y55L in India to attract buyers in the mid-budget range. The smartphones loaded with a bunch of new features is priced at Rs. 11,980.
Featuring a new sleek look, Y55L is a metal uni-body device which comes with a 5.2 inch high definition display and 2.5D curved screen. It comes with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor with 2 GB of RAM.
Y55L is equipped with a 8-megapixel rear camera and a led flash while the front facing shooter has 5 megapixel lens. The front camera also powers a new option of smart screen selfie flash, in which screen turns bright to give more light to the lens to shoot.
The smartphone has an inbuilt storage of 16 GB and can be expanded further up to 128 GB with the help of a external SD card. It comes in two colours- Gold and Space Grey.
The dual-sim smartphone supports VoLTE to use 4G services on the device. Coming on to the battery, Y55L encompasses a 2,650 mAh battery which can last up to 8 hours. Other connectivty features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, OTG support and Mico USB are also armed in the smartphone.
Earlier in 2016, Vivo had also launched an another smartphone Y51L which also boasts similar kind of features with less specifications. Significantly Vivo is the fifth largest smartphone maker in the world and is looking to stronghold its position in the Indian smartphone market. The aims for 10 per cent market share in India by next year.
