Facebook owned messaging service WhatsApp keeps updating its popular app with new features. When voce calling feature was added, there were reports that WhatsApp will also have call back and voicemail feature.
A translation document revealed in April hinted that WhatsApp will get the feature. And now, WhatsApp is launching this feature for Android Beta program users.
Apart from Android Beta user group, the updated WhatsApp app is also available in the form of a signed APK from APK Mirror. Once you install the WhatsApp version 2.16.189 on your handset, try calling one of your contacts. The feature will work even if the version is not installed on the recipient’s device.
When you will call someone and if the recipient declines of does not pick the call, you will get a new screen with three options – cancel, call back and record voice messages.
If you choose the cancel option, the screen will be closed, while with call back option you can call back the person. You can send a recorded voice message like the voicemail using the record voice message option.
