Wholesale debt market (WDM) segment of the National Stock Exchange on Friday witnessed a total turnover of Rs.580.25 crore in 16 trades.

The 7.06 per cent Government security maturing in CG2046 traded value of Rs 100.00 crore at weighted yield of 8.23 per cent, the 8.16 per cent Government security maturing in CG2022A traded value of Rs 30.00 crore at weighted yield of 8.00 per cent and the 8.20 per cent Government security maturing in CG2022 traded value of Rs 30.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.98 per cent.

During the trading week ended today, total turnover was Rs 6,255.20 crore and the total number of trades was 165.
The highest trade volume during the week was at Rs.2011.53 crore as Aug 28, while the lowest was at Rs 580.25 crore as on today.
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years quoted at 7.19 per cent, 7.98 per cent, 7.94 per cent and 8.17 respectively.

The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing for 0-90 days ,91-182 days and 182-365 was 6.51 per cent,the 6.83 per cent and 7.00 cent days respectively.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on WDM was Rs 4,135.80 crore, representing 66.11 per cent of the total traded value.
Trading in non-government securities was at Rs.2120.20 crore, representing 33.89 per cent, an NSE release said.
