Instant messaging app Whatsapp is in line to introduce a brand new feature which will enable users to revoke and edit messages. For now, the feature is available on the beta version of the app on iOS platform only.

This much-anticipated feature could prove a fancy option and a saviour tool for users who accidently send a specific message to a wrong person or for ones who face awkward moment with a poor choice of word.

According to media reports, this new feature will help users to remotely delete or edit a message on recipient's device if the message has not been read by the other message.

In the testing beta version, another interesting feature is introduced in Whatsapp. A new feature which will enable users to track another user's exact location.

Currently being called 'Live location', the feature requires the tracked user to authorise live tracking for 1, 2 or 5 minutes for its use.
Speculations are rife that the feature will come with manual control in the full-fledged version from the user as it could address potential privecy concerns.
