Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has unleashed its much awaited smartphone Redmi 4 and has declared the launch of the device at a November 4 event.
Alongside the Redmi 4, it is also touted that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer might also unveil a low-cost, basic-specifications variant called the Redmi 4A.
According to Xiaomi, the event will be live streamed on the launch time scheduled at 4:30 PM (IST) on November 4.
A teaser image of the smartphone is also doing rounds on the internet , which doesn’t reveals much about its features apart from a curved display glass at the edges and a metal frame.
Coming on the specifications, reports suggest that new Redmi 4 might carry a 5 inch LCD display and could be powered by a Snapdragon 625 octa core processor with 3GB of RAM.
On the storage front, the device comes with an inbuilt storage of 32GB which can be expanded up to 128 GB with the help of microSD card. It is believed that the smartphone might sport a 13 megapixel shooter in the rear with dual-LED flash and 5 megapixel lens at the front camera.
With a mega 4100mAh battery the new Redmi 4 is expected to be available in three different colours- Grey, Silver and Gold.
