Chinese handset maker Xiaomi has slashed the price of MiPad, the first-generation tablet, by Rs 2000 in India. So now, tablet which was priced at Rs 12,999 after it was launched in India last year, is now being offered at Rs 10,999.
However, the MiPad with reduced price will only be available on the official website of Xiaomi India and also on Flipkart. It is not available on Snapdeal and Amazon.
Xiaomi MiPad comes with a 7.9-inch screen with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and features 2.2GHz quad-core Tegra K1 processor. The Xiaomi MiPad competes with Apple's iPad mini.
The MIUI-powered tablet has 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. It sports an 8MP rear camera with Sony lens and a 5MP camera in the fornt.
According to Xiaomi, the MiPad’s 6,700mAh battery can last up to 11 hours. The device is 8.5mm thick and weighs 360 gram.
