Alipurduar:
An examineee on Monday appeared for the West Bengal Board Higher Secondary Examination from her bed in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) of Alipurduar district hospital.
The examinee, Manti Ghosh of Ghagra village, who was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital on February 12 last with bronchitis was later shifted to the CCU, hospital sources said.
Doctors had initially requested her not to appear for her examination but relented on seeing her determination.
The West Bengal board conducted Higher Secondary examination began from today at various centres across the state.
