NEET 2022 Registration started at neet.nta.nic.in, Check Documents Required

NEET 2022 Registration process has been started at neet.nta.nic.in. UG aspirants can apply for NEET 2022 here.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test application form on April 6. Students can apply till May 6 whereas application fee can be paid till May 7.

Candidates belonging to general category have to submit Rs. 1600, General-EWS/ OBC- NCL category have to submit Rs. 1500 while SC/ ST/ PwD/ Third gender have to submit Rs. 900/-. The fee for outside India candidates is Rs.8500/-.

While applying for NEET 2022 exam, candidates are required to submit several documents. Here are the list of documents required during NEET registration:

  • Left & Right-hand fingers & thumb impression
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • Citizenship certificate (if applicable)
  • Class 10th certificate in JPG forma
  • PwD certificate (if applicable)
  • Scanned signature (b/w 4KB to 30KB)
  • Scanned passport size photograph (b/w 10KB to 200 KB)
  • Scanned postcard photograph (b/w 10KB to 200 KB)

NTA does not edit/ modify/ alter any information once application process is completed. So, one must avoid to make mistakes like uploading wrong size or blurred image, invalid certificate, entering in-active email ID & phone number, etc. which can lead to rejection of form.

NEET 2022 also went through slight changes this year, from removal of upper age limit to increase in duration of exam. Though, one applying for NEET must be at least 17 years in age.

The question paper will comprise of 200 questions & 3 hours 20 minutes will be given to solve the paper.

NEET is a national level entrance examination which is conducted for MBBS & BDS aspirants. It will be conducted on 17th July 2022 as pen-paper based mode.

It will be organized in 13 languages in around 543 cities in India & 14 cities outside India.

However, students are on their demand to postpone NEET UG 2022 exam as they are getting less time to prepare after their board exams.

The students have highlighted that they do not have adequate time to prepare. They also added that while JEE Main has two attempts this year, NEET has only one. Thus, the chance to try for the exam is less & those would not be able to clear will again have to wait for another year.
