Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2016 on May 10

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has released the date for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET). The state level medical entrance examination will be held on May 10. The exam is conducted for admission into engineering, Physiotherapy and alternative medical programmes offered by various government/government aided universities and private colleges/institutes across Gujarat.

Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification:

The candidates are required to have passed higher secondary certificate examination with Science stream conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar. 

Age limit:

17 to 25 years.

Paper Pattern:

The paper consists of total 120 multiple choice questions of 40 marks each. Following is the bifurcation of the sections:

Physics: 40 marks

Chemistry: 40 marks

Biology: 40 marks

Exam duration: 180 minutes

Admit card:

Admit cards will be available on the official website 20 days before the examination.
