Results for ICSE Class X and ISC Class XII examinations will be announced on May 6 at 3 pm. Due to the introduction of new technology LICR (Live Ink Character Recognition) the results will be declared two weeks earlier than usual, said Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations.

We are the first Examination Board in the world to introduce usage of LICR technology,” according to a statement by CISEC Chief Executive and Secretary Gerry Arathoon.

How this technology works?

It captures and digitalises marks entered on the top sheets of answer scripts and instantly encrypts and transfers the captured data to the council’s cloud-based servers directly from the evaluation centres.

Results will be made available on the career portal of the council and its website as well as through SMS. Candidates can also access their ICSE Class  and ISC results by logging into the council’s website www.cisce.org and selecting the Results 2016 option.
