JEE Main Results 2016: Fate of 12 lakh students will be decided today; check results at cbseresults.nic.in, jeemain.nic.in

The wait of 12 lakh students who gave the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) exams Main paper I and paper II will finally be over today as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to declare the JEE Main Results 2016 soon. The online exam was held on April 9 and April 10, 2016, while the offline examination was conducted on April 3 for paper I and paper II of JEE Mains.

The JEE Main Results 2016 will decide the fate of 12 lakh students as their admissions to institutes with technical sources funded by the centre will be based on the scores. The institutes include premium institutes such as the IITs and NITs.

Those candidates who will be successful in their JEE Mains exams will be eligible to take the JEE Advanced exam 2016.
Students can access their JEE Main Results 2016 at the CBSE official website cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.nic.in or www.jeemain.nic.in.

Here are the steps to check JEE Main Results 2016:

• Logon to the any of these official websites – cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.nic.in or www.jeemain.nic.in
• Click ‘JEE Main Results 2016’
• Enter your name, application number and date of birth
• Click submit
• Your results will be displayed on your computer screens
• Take a print out of your result for future reference
