Bengaluru lends support to LGBT community with Rainbow Christmas cake

At a time when India is still pondering about the legal status of the LGBT community, Bengaluru's The Lalit Ashok has come up with an innovative theme for this Christmas in support of LGBT Community by making a Rainbow cake and replacing Santa with Elfie.

In order to bring inclusive society irrespective of gender ‘The Lalit Ashok’ in Bengaluru have organised a week-long programme based on the theme ‘inclusive and diversity of pure love.’ This event will welcome everyone without any gender bias on Christmas Eve.

Keshav Suri, Executive Director The LaLiT Sur Hospitality Group said, "The rainbow colours denote we are a gender-neutral and perfectly complements our theme of inclusivity and diversity as we gear up to spread the love.”

LGBT community has welcomed this step and is eager to attend the Christmas Eve at the hotel. 

Alex, member of the LGBT community said, "I wanted people to accept us in the society without any conditions. Hope such events will encourage inclusivity of our community members with others".
