They later ran away in the car in which they came to the school, the police said. Based on a tip-off, one of the gang members was arrested from the Mahalaxmi Layout area. He received a bullet injury in his leg and was taken to a hospital.

The police suspect a land dispute relating to the school building as the reason behind the murder. Further investigation is on to ascertain the exact cause and establish the sequence of events, the cops said.
