A massive fire broke out at UCO bank's MG Road branch in Karnataka's Bengaluru city on Wednesday. Fire department received information about the incident this afternoon and hurried to the spot to douse the blaze. However, no casualty or loss of property has been reported in connection to the incident so far.
As panic and fear spread across the region, people started rushing out of the building, which houses several coaching centres as well. According to reports, many a students were inside the building at the time of the blaze and are feared trapped.

Currently, 3 fire tenders are present at the spot and the blaze fighting operation is underway to rescue the trapped. Prima facie, a short circuit near the building's lift is considered to be the reason behind the incident, sources said quoting fire brigade officials.
