Karnataka: 6 killed, 5 injured in boiler blast in Bagalkote district

As many as six people were killed and five critically injured in a boiler blast in the Nirani Sugars at Mudhol in Karnataka's Bagalkot district on Sunday morning, reported news agency ANI.

According to reports, the incident took place when about 10 people were working in the distillery unit of the sugar factory. The intensity of the blast was so powerful that the three-floor building completely collapsed. The deceased are yet to be identified as their faces have suffered serious burn injuries.
