Watch video: Maruti Alto turns into a ball of fire in Bengaluru

A Maruti Alto car caught fire near Indiranagar police station in Bangalore on Monday. As per preliminary investigation, the fire was caused due to short circuit. There were no casualties.

Raj Kumar, the owner of the car, was travelling from Bidaralli to Shivajinagar. 

According to eye-witnesses, smoke started coming out of the car and soon it turned into a ball of fire. Thankfully, all passengers are safe.

In the past, Maruti Alto car owners have reportedly escaped from similar incidents at least four times between 2011 and 2015 in Pune, Delhi and Gurgaon.
