The 80 kg cake took five days to be prepared

The annual 15-day Christmas Cake Show has begun in Bengaluru with 20 cakes displayed for the public at St. Joseph’s ground, but the main attraction is the 5-feet-tall cake of newlywed couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, also known as Virushka. 

The 80 kg cake took five days to be prepared.

Gautam, organiser of Christmas Cake Show said, "I am a big fan of Virat and wanted to do something for him. Coincidentally, his wedding came around Christmas so I decided to make a cake for the newlywed couple".

The other attraction at the cake show is the replica of "Gateway of India". This huge cake was made in 3 months by 40 chefs and it weighs 12 hundred kilograms. Two thousand eggs were used in making the cake.

Eiffel Tower, dinosaur, panda, and the Indian Doli, which Indian royals used during their weddings are other cakes which are drawing a lot of attention. 

The cake show will go until January 1, 2018.
