Haryana Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki to discharge additional duties of Himachal governor

The Governor of Haryana Kaptan Singh Solanki was on Friday appointed to discharge additional duties of Governor of Himachal Pradesh, according to an official statement.

Solanki will discharge the additional duties during the absence and leave of Himachal Pradesh Governor Acharya Devvrat, the statement said.

Solanki was sworn-in as the Governor of Haryana on July 27, 2014, to become the 16^th governor of the state since its formation after trifurcation of Punjab in 1966.
