Tirath Singh Rawat was returning from Delhi to Dehradun when he car suffered an accident

New Delhi:

Tirath Singh Rawat, the BJP MP from Uttarakhand's Garhwal, was injured in a car accident near Bhimgoda-Pant Deep. According to ANI, Rawat has been admitted to hospital in Haridwar for injuries sustained in the accident.

According to reports, the incident took place around 7:30 am on Sunday. Rawat was returning from Delhi to Dehradun when he car suffered an accident while trying to avoid collision with another car from the opposite side. According to BJP workers, his car turned over during the accident.

Rawat was taken to nearby hospital. He was accompnied by several workers. Rawat suffered minor injury in his hip. He was discharged after treatment.
