New Delhi:

Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal was left red-faced when he was greeted with 'Modi-Modi' chants during Aam Aadmi Party's MCD election campaign in Gautam Vihar Chowk area on Saturday.

The moment Kejriwal began his speech, the crowd started shouting pro-Modi slogans. However, even this could not deter the chief minister from targeting the PM.

"Ask them if chanting Modi's name can waive off the house tax for you. Even I am ready to chant PM's name if this happens," Kejriwal said.

He further asked if the PM has relaxed electricity charges for the people in Delhi.

Earlier in the day, Kejriwal urged the Election Commission to investigate cases of "faulty" EVMs and ascertain if their software can be tweaked "in favour of the BJP".

Kejriwal met chief election commissioner Nasim Zaidi and also demanded ballot papers be reintroduced in the country.

The Election Commission's claim that EVMs cannot be tampered with is completly "wrong", Kejriwal asserted.
