One person died and nearly 15 others were injured after a collision between a truck and a DTC bus near ITO flyover at around 3 am on Tuesday. The bus, which was going from Anand Vihar to Uttam Nagar, ran into the divider after the collision. According to reports, the injured have been shifted to LNJP hospital with the help of police.

According to eyewitnesses, the truck was moving on the wrong side and rammed into the bus as soon as it crossed ITO flyover. The condition of the bus driver is stated to be critical.
The truck driver, who was hospitalised in a critical condition, succumbed to his injuries.Â
In another road accident, at least five persons were killed and another one was injured on National Highway-18 in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha on Sunday night. The incident happened at Tarakoti under the jurisdiction of Betnoti police station, the police said.
Six persons on three bikes were on their way to Baisinga and Baleswar respectively after attending a marriage function at Baripada when a speeding lorry hit the bikes one after another and fled the scene, the Inspector-in-Charge of Betnoti police station, Govind Behera, said.
