Police have recovered CCTV footage from east Delhi’s Pandav Nagar area in which the Nepalese woman who was allegedly gang-raped by five men is purportedly seen walking without clothes and asking for help.

The 26-year-old woman had jumped off from the first floor of a building to escape from the five men who had allegedly raped her for hours on the intervening night of March 11 and 12.

The victim was given clothes by a woman who saw her walking in the area. The victim, who is a mother of two children, was brought to the flat by a man Kundan.

Police is looking for Kundan while five of the other accused Lakshay Bhalla, Vikas Kumar, Naveen, Swarit and Prateek have been arrested.

In the 17-second video clip, the woman is purportedly seen jumping from the building and falling on the stairs. One of the passersby helps her to stand while the others walk away.

Two cars are seen halting but Munni Devi, a local said that at 5.40 AM she saw a young woman walking without clothes on the street and begging for help. The woman threw a shirt and pyjama for the victim from her balcony.

An auto driver, who was passing from there, stopped his auto and handed over the clothes to the woman. He also gave her his mobile phone so that she could inform the police.

In the clip, the woman is purportedly seen walking nude while some passersby are just watching and not coming forward to help her.
