With no side ready to back-pedal, the tug of war between the Arvind Kejriwal government and L-G Anil Baijal continued for the sixth consecutive day in Delhi.
The sit-in protest by the Delhi CM and other AAP ministers entered its sixth day on Saturday, amid tussle between the AAP and the BJP, which blamed each other for the impasse.
Meanwhile, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and Health Minister Satyendar Jain, who have been on an indefinite hunger strike since Tuesday, are scared to be forced out of the L-G office in Delhi. The decision was taken after a team of doctors and medical staff reached the L-G office for their health check up on Friday.
Following the reports of their ill-health, around 20-25 people on Friday reached the LG office and were reportedly preparing to remove them forcibly from the place.
Meanwhile, Sisodia has warned PM Narendra Modi, LG Baijal and police not to try to end their fast as they are struggling for the people of Delhi. They further urged the Governor and the Prime Minister to focus on their demands. "If we are forcibly removed, we will give up even water," the deputy CM threatened.

"Why r are they planning to take them forcefully? It is just 4 days. Both of them are fit. They r fighting for the people of Delhi (sic)," Kejriwal wrote in a tweet.
Earlier in the day, a senior official informed that Jain has lost a couple of kgs in the last four days but as of now there is no need to hospitalise him.

"At 2:30 pm, his (Jain's) vitals were checked and his sugar level was 57 units (mg/dL). His blood pressure reading was 98/64, while the pulse reading was 70. However, ketone level (more than 3 units) has been detected in his body. In a normal condition, ketone should not be found," the official added.
Being asked about Sisodia's health condition, he said, the "Deputy CM is doing fine".
Kejriwal accompanied by his deputy Sisodia and ministers Satyendar Jain and Gopal Rai started an indefinite sit-in at the office of Delhi L-G demanding that he directs IAS officers to end their "strike" and approve the doorstep ration delivery scheme.
However, the IAS officers' association has maintained that no officer is on "strike".
Amid this high-voltage political drama, the Delhi High Court on Friday agreed to hear the matter on June 18. The plea seeks direction to the L-G to ensure that the alleged 'informal strike' by IAS officers of Delhi was called off and they perform their duties as public servants.

The petition comes in the backdrop of another plea filed on Friday seeking that the sit-in by Kejriwal and his cabinet colleagues at the LG office be declared unconstitutional and illegal. This plea against Kejriwal's sit-in was also listed for hearing for June 18.
