The alleged "mass suicide" of 11 members of Bhatia family in Delhi's Burari has shaken the collective conscience of the nation. From "occult angle" to suspicion of "foul play", the chilling details, emerging days after the awful incident, are deepening the mystery behind the case.

Meanwhile, News Nation has tracked another video clip of 42-year-old Lalit, son of let Gopaldas, which raised significant questions regarding his link to the alleged "suicide pact".

In the 43-second-long video, Lalit, 42, is seen shopping some gold items in a jewelry shop hours before the 11 bodies were found hanging in their house at Burari on Sunday.

According to police investigations, Lalit might be the mastermind behind this dreadful incident and was instigating the family members to commit suicide to attain salvation.

Earlier, he was on a vow of silence and started speaking recently to inform the family that his father, Gopaldas, who breathed his last in 2008, had possessed him. He also reportedly told the family that his father was giving him the directions to live a better life.

Some handwritten notes found on the spot read that his father had told him about an impending apocalypse. The note went on to reveal that Lalit used to talk to his father’s spirit and believed that Gopal would save him and other members in the family.

The details in the registers match with the way the mouths and eyes of the deceased were tied and taped. Those exhaustive notes were sent to experts, according to whom, the handwriting in the register belongs to none other than Lalit.

The Crime Branch said it is investigating the matter from all possible angles and Lalit, the younger son of the Bhatia family currently tops the list of the "Prime Suspect" in the case.
