Few days back Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was in controversy because of the National flag, which he rectified in his press conference now, said Union Culture and Tourism Ministry. Today the flags shown in the background in his press conference were the right ones. Union Culture and Tourism Minister Prahlad Singh Patel had accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of insulting the national flag and violating the Flag Code of India during his televised press briefings.

Union Minister wrote to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal alleging that in the recent addresses made by the Delhi CM the green stripes in the flags displayed in the background were distorted and enlarged, while the white central stripes reduced. Union Minister said in his letter National Flag is not an object of decoration, and no one can tamper with its texture. Union Minister Prahlad Patel had asked to rectify his mistake with no time loss and had sent its copy to the Governor Anil Baijal.
