Coronavirus: 4th Case In Noida As Person With Travel History To Indonesia Tested Positive For Covid-19

New Delhi:

A person, with a travel history to one of the coronavirus-affected countries, has tested positive for Covid-19 in Noida. This is the fourth positive case of novel coronavirus in Gautam Buddh Nagar district, said district health department officials. Gautam Buddh Nagar Chief Medical Officer Anurag Bhargava said that the person had a travel history to Indonesia. He was tested for coronavirus four days ago. Authorities have begun the process of sanitising the neighbourhood of the latest patient and his family has been isolated for any possible symptoms. Media reports identified the latest positive case as a 26-year-old techie residing in sector-41 and working with a company in Noida. He had returned from Indonesia four days back and resumed work, one report claimed. However, the company had sent him for a check-up, where he was tested positive for coronavirus, said the report.

Earlier, two people in had tested positive in Noida for the novel coronavirus on Tuesday. Bhargav had told ANI, "Two persons test positive for Coronavirus: one in Sector 78 and another in Sector 100 with travel history to France. Both are admitted in designated isolation hospital."
