Coronavirus Pandemic: Three New COVID-19 Cases Reported In Noida, Greater Noida

While two positive cases of coronavirus were reported from Paras Tierra society in Noida’s sector 137, another case was reported from Omicron society in Greater Noida’s sector 3.

At least three new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) were reported in Gautam Buddh Nagar District of Uttar Pradesh on Friday. While two positive cases of coronavirus were reported from Paras Tierra society in Noida’s sector 137, another case was reported from Omicron society in Greater Noida’s sector 3.

As per the initial reports, both Paras Tierra and Omicron society have been sealed. Residents have been asked to stay indoors. This comes a day after two cases of coronavirus were reported in Ghaziabad, taking the total number in the city to 7.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) issued an advisory asking all states and Union territories (UTs) to prevent a mass exodus of migrant agriculture labourers, industrial workers, and unorganised sector employees from their workplaces to hometowns.

The death count in India has reached 18 due to the outbreak of novel coronavirus in the country. According to the latest update, more than 700 cases of coronavirus has been reported in India so far.

PM Modi on Tuesday announced a complete lockdown in the country for the  next 21 days. After this, the Indian Railways announced the suspension of passenger trains till April 14, 2020. All international and domestic commercial flights have already been suspended till April 14, 2020.

It is worth mentioning here that the novel coronavirus, which originated in China, has claimed thousands of lives across the world. With no known cure so far for the coronavirus, the deadly disease has become a major issue for the entire world.
