Delhi Chief Secretary assault case: Police to interrogate Arvind Kejriwal on May 18

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is set to be questioned by the police of Friday regarding the alleged assault on chief secretary Anshu Prakash in February, police said on Wednesday.

A notice has been sent to Kejriwal and he will be examined on May 18 and 11 am. Earlier on April, Kejriwal’s private secretary Bibhav Kumar was also interrogated in connection with the case, a senior police officer said.

Police have already interrogated the 11 MLAs who were present at Chief Minister’s residence for the meeting on February 19 in which Prakash was allegedly targeted and attacked.

Kejriwal, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, former advisor VK Jain were present at the time of the alleged attack.

On February 23, a police team had examined the CCTV footage at the CM’s house in the Civil Lines area and seized the hard disk. The report on the hard disk is awaited.
