In reaction to the RBI guidelines on money being withdrawn for marriages, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday took a jibe at the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's demonetisation policy stand-up comedy style.

Giving his funny take on the possible problems faced by those getting married during cash crunch, Delhi CM tweeted, "If you give money to your sister-in-laws in wedding, you will have to submit a list of their names and proof they do not have bank accounts...".

Earlier, twitter account holder Vikrant Yadav had tweeted: "According to RBI, those who withdraw 2.5 lakh rupees from banks for wedding will have to give RBI a bureau of payments to those who do not have bank accounts."

RBI के मुताबिक़ शादी के लिए बैंक से अपने 2.5 L निकालने वालों को बताना होगा कि ये पैसा उन लोगों को अदा किया, जिनका कोई बैंक खाता नहीं है। वाह

Kejriwal's tweet drew reactions of some support and surprise from the twitteratis.

A Delhite, Monica tweeted: So confused that it is the twitter account of Delhi CM @ArvindKejriwal or a stand-up comedian!

In response account holder @CatWomaniya (Nida) tweeted: What's wrong in being a funny CM anyway.

Taking the act further, Deputy CM of Delhi Manish Sisodia took another jibe at currency overhaul troubles and said that all that is needed to get married is love and not 56-inch chest:
