A massive fire that broke out on the first floor of the SBI building at Parliament Street in Delhi on Saturday evening was brought under control. As many as nine fire tenders have reached the spot to douse the flames.

Earlier on January 31, a day before the Union Budget, a fire had broken out in Parliament House’s room number 50. Five fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames.
A UPS kept in one of the rooms of the Parliament House had caught fire sending plumes of smoke which alerted those present there, said Atul Garg, chief fire officer, Delhi Fire Services.
