Services on parts of the Delhi Metro's Blue Line section were briefly affected due to a technical snag on Thursday afternoon. Services were delayed in the sections between Dwarka and Rajiv Chowk, Janakpuri West and Dwarka Sector 21 and Noida Electronic City and Rajouri Garden. However, normal services were reported in the loop between Janakpuri West and Kirti Nagar.
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) informed passengers about the delay on Twitter. "Delay in services between Dwarka and Rajiv Chowk," it wrote, adding that restoration work is underway.
"Due to a technical issue, train services will be run in following loops temporarily: Between Janakpuri West and Dwarka Sec 21, Between Noida Electronic City and Rajouri Garden. There is single line movement between Janakpuri West and Kirti Nagar," DMRC wrote in another tweet.
Passengers can use the Magenta Line from Janakpuri West or Botanical Garden to reach Dwarka or Noida.
