Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal along with Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri is set to inaugurate the brand new Pink Line of Delhi Metro Railway Corporation from Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus Corridor to Lajpat Nagar on Monday.
The 8.1-kilometre stretch has six stations with two interchange stations – INA and Lajpat Nagar. The new Pink Line Metro will be a major boost for the shoppers as four major shopping hub – Sarojini Nagar, INA, South Extension and Lajpat Nagar – will get their dedicated metro stops.

The other stations are Sir Vishveshariah Moti Bagh and Bhikhaji Cama Place.
With the opening of Pink Line, the entire reach of DMRC will hit the 296 km mark with a total of 214 stations.
The initial corridor of the Pink Line – from Majlis Park to South Campus – was inaugurated on March 14.
