As predicted by the weatherman, rains lashed parts of Delhi and NCR on Wednesday evening bringing down the mercury level and providing much-needed relief from the humid weather condition in the city.

The humidity level fell to a low of 79 per cent, while the minimum temperature settled at 28.8 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season’s average and the maximum temperature was hovering around 38 degrees Celsius, a MeT Department official said.

On Tuesday, the minimum temperature was 28.6 degrees whereas the maximum was recorded at 38.8 degrees Celsius.
