Delhi on Thursday woke up to a bright and sunny morning. The maximum temperature is expected to settle at 33 degrees Celsius, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The minimum temperature is expected to hover around 22 degrees Celsius and humidity will be about 95 per cent.

The city witnessed moderate showers for the last three days. As per the India Meteorological Department data, Delhi received the highest rainfall in September in seven years since 2011. Delhi has recorded rainfall to the tune of 224.5 mm till September 26 this year, when in the entire month in 2017 it was just 158.5 mm.
On Wednesday, minimum temperature was recorded at 22 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature settled at 32 degrees Celsius.

This was for the third time in the year that the quality of air was registered as good and the Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 38, which is the lowest for this year, according to the Centre’s System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research institute (SAFAR).
