Dense fog shrouds Delhi: 32 north-bound trains delayed and 3 cancelled

Residents of Delhi and NCR woke up to a cold and chilly morning with a layer of dense fog engulfing the area and resulting in severe disturbance to the transportation system.

Windy conditions prevailed in the national capital where dense fog in the morning hours caused Arrival of 3 international flights & departure of 2 domestic flights delayed.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 9.0 degreesCelsius, a notch above the season's average, while the maximum temperature settled at 23.0 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year.
