Fire in Delhi's Hotel Grand, no casualties

A fire broke out at the Hotel Grand in the national capital on Friday, but there were no casualties, a police official said.

Five fire tenders were rushed to the hotel at Vasant Kunj area, the police said.

"There was a fire near the boundary wall near a tin shed, and fire tenders doused it immediately. There were no casualties," an official from the fire department was quoted as saying by PTI.

In 2008, a major fire broke out in the hotel and nearly 250 guests had to be evacuated.
