Gugan Singh, AAP's 2019 Lok Sabha Candidate, Quits Party To Rejoin BJP

Former BJP legislator, Gugan Singh, who joined Aam Aadmi Party in 2017, has again returned to the saffron bloc. Singh, who was AAP's Lok Sabha candidate from North-West Delhi seat lost to BJP's Hans Raj Hans by over 6 lakh votes.

Former BJP legislator, Gugan Singh, who joined Aam Aadmi Party in 2017, has again returned to the saffron bloc. Singh, who was AAP's Lok Sabha candidate from North-West Delhi seat lost to BJP's Hans Raj Hans by over 5.53 lakh votes. Earlier, Singh had won the Bawana seat in the 2013 Assembly Elections while lost the seat to AAP's Ved Prakash in 2015.

Gugan Singh was unhappy after BJP denied him ticket for the 2015 bypoll on the Bawana seat and fielding Ved Prakash.

The bypoll was necessitated after Ved Prakash, who had quit AAP after winning the seat, joined the BJP. 

According to a BJP leader, Singh had tried to take up the matter to BJP's top leadership but he failed to impress.
