In yet another tragic incident, three of a family were found dead in Brijpura village of Gurugram's Pataudi area late on Wednesday while the fourth member, a one-year-old child breathed her last in the hospital. Following the incident, a joint team of police and forensic experts was rushed to the spot.
According to police, a woman's body was found hanging from the ceiling fan while another two were seen lying in a pool of blood on the floor. A one-year-old girl was immediately taken to hospital but she later succumbed to her injuries. The infant was seriously injured with wounds on her hand.
The deceased have been identified as Phoolvati (62), her son Manish (25), daughter-in-law Pinki (24) and one-year-old girl Charu.
"A woman's body was found hanging, found 2 bodies lying on the floor, sent a child to the hospital where she died. Probe on," the police was quoted as saying by ANI.

Prima facie, police suspect that the second woman, her son and the child were murdered by another woman, who later committed suicide by hanging herself from the fan. However, the actual reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained. The police have launched an investigation into the matter.
Earlier in July, the discovery of 11 bodies at the Bhatia home in North Delhi's Burari had almost all newsrooms in the country in a tizzy. While 10 of the family members were found hanging from an iron rod of a ceiling with their eyes covered, mouths gagged and hands tied behind their back, an aged woman named Narayani Devi was lying on the floor of the house.

Days after the mysterious death of Bhatia family left the nation shocked, police claimed to have solved the puzzling case, saying the mass suicide was an act of gratitude to God. The family committed suicide in a thankful gesture to god after their several pending works were completed.
