Haryana government to develop Gurugram as Smart City of its own level

Haryana Government on Thursday said it is planning to develop Gurugram as 'Smart City' at its own level.

A Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) has been set up to develop Faridabad as Smart City and consultants are being appointed for the same. Faridabad would be developed on PPP mode, the release further said

The announcement was made in a meeting in Gurugram between Chief Secretary DS Dhesi and British Deputy High Commissioner David Lelliott, who had called on Dhesi to invite him for an interactive session on Infrastructure and Urban Developmentto be held in Gurugram on October 21, an official release said.
